Agreed, My company bought F-150's from 93-95 and all had the 300 with the A4OD transmission. Terrible gas mileage and the trannies had issues between 80-100k BUT you couldnt kill those engines. We actually had employess who bought them after 200k miles and are still driving them. A little noisy on start up but play makes horsepower right?? LOL . Im a GM man but that thing would run all over a 250 Chevy. Thank goodness for the 4.3. LOL
