Machine shop I deal with says the Eagle cranks should be checked and some may need some refinishing done before installing but they are heads above the stock crank which takes more work and is still 40 years old.

I don't have to....you just did. Buying a new crank then having to pay to have it refinish.
A crank that's question able if your making over 600 hp. No thanks think I'll just go with a steel crank and sleep at night.
