There are three studded headbolts on the driver's side on my D port, standard 400. One on the front exhaust port, the second is between the 1 and 3 sparkplugs and the third is between the 5 and 7 plugs.
The front one is for the negative battery cable and the other two are for the preheather shroud (I think!). The third one also holds the starter wire tube on non ram-air cars.
I have no idea whether the '68 RAII were setup the same way but for the driver's side at least, I think they all had the battery post and the preheater shroud so....I'd expect the bolts wouldn't be hard to find.
If you want them without the studs, I would think you could use any headbolt of the right length made for a Pontiac 400?
