Brad, just the chambers cc'd at 69, heads off the car. For a workable compression ratio, you want about an 82-87cc chamber. I installed 87cc chamber heads on my '67, but with deck height, head gasket, and piston reliefs factored in, I ended up with about 9:1 compression. It runs fine on regular fuel. If I were to do it over, I'd have milled my heads a little for something like an 84cc chamber at the head itself. There is a ton of good information here, and a lot of knowledgeable people. B-man's suggestion of getting the pistons dished is a good one, and I think that Mr. P-Body, on this forum, knows all about this aspect. Good luck.
