There is no rust on these, and the lower is ok, but on the upper, both rivet mounting holes broke off the shroud. If there are no reproductions, is this repairable?

Also, the heat crossover part no. 488983 is different than what I found in group 3.609 of the parts manual, but the crossover fits perfectly and from all indications is the correct and original application. Has anyone else come across this crossover part no?

I decided to repair the rivet holes on the upper shroud. It's thin metal, and was challenging not to burn through the part. The top gets pretty hot, so I'm not sure there is a high heat glaze I can put on it to finish the welds.
