He never mentioned this before.
Are there things to tell the difference between 68 GTO chrome front bumper/grilles versus Tempest/Lemans chrome front bumper/grilles ?
Its a Hardtop Red / Parchment int, HO 360hp matching numbers (WS - fresh rebuild), 4spd, Air Cond, Hood Tach, Gauge cluster, and probably more options also.
I was about to leave when he pulled up - so didn't get to fine tooth comb the car.
He won't be getting the PHS.
Just wondering if there is a way to tell between the chrome frt bumps.
Even still - if it is a correct piece - i guess only the PHS would tell if it actually came that way or not. Just curious if it is a correct GTO frt bumper assy.
First one i've seen in person.
He wants to sell it now. Fairly decent unfinished driver quality, with a fresh paint job that he kinda got screwed on. He's gonna bail out and lose money.

I had a Verdoro Green Chrome bumper GTO... back in the late 80's... i think the grilles are same as LeMans grilles...except for GTO emblem,, but im not sure... someone had removed the 400...put in a 301 in front of the 3spd trans(my brother in law bought it before i owned it), atleast im pretty sure it had a 3spd... coulda been a saginaw out of somethin else... but, it was a snail, thats for sure. I like the chrome bumper cars...they only made 2100 or so of them. Mine was real good shape too...needing minor body repair...shoulda kept it!!
