I was wondering how much longer the dipstick is on your engine that will allow you to shorten it so that the dipstick reads the way that you want. I couldn't shorten mine because it was already too short to begin with without the upper half installed. It's just an idea to give you a piece of mind knowing what the oil level was at any given time.
