First, I'd like to ask, "Why don't you use the quote option in your posts?". It makes reading them a whole lot easier.
Second, Recommending 9.5:1 static compression ratio, with iron heads, is so common that it should be comsidered fact. IMHO. There must be a lot of "retarded " people building engines. Many, of whom, outweigh your level of expertise. So, I contest that, your statement is retartded. Can people get away with more? Of course! But, recommending 9.5:1, on pump gas, is just good sound advise. As with most things, some people have to brag about doing more with less. I always say, "The first liar doesn't stand a chance".
