Hi Skip, yes hole saw in the drill press. The speedometer I'm going to have to jigsaw and clean up with the 1/4" grinder.
Steve, Carbs on this one since she's going to be street strip. Ultimately, I'd like to put a couple of classic Holley 850's on. I have 2 Demon 850's which just aren't right for the look I want, but will probably use them to get her going. My other thought was to use a couple of Carter/Edelbrock which would be period correct in the looks department but a little less on performance and quite a bit less on cost. I know you can buy used carbs cheap but I have never had good luck with a used carb let alone 2 on the same engine. Almost $1,000 for the 2 holley 850 double pumpers, and about $600.00 for the 2 Edelbrocks.
