Why cant anyone get a high pressure system right? They had problems with pumps and injectors on the Duramax as well.Only difference is the diesels operate at least 10x higher
Seen a high pressure line failure on an 05' Dodge Ram 2500 as well, on a friend of mine's truck. Sprayed diesel fuel all under the hood and underside of the truck. The "high pressure" direct injection may seem like the answer to the manufacturers prayers, and is a key element in getting extra power and effeciency out of these engines, but they add even more potential "headaches" for the consumer and technicians alike.
