A lot of the really good deals on craigslist are gone before most people even see them (ad is deleted after they are bought almost immediately). I attribute this to the now-widespread use of craigslist (paper classifieds around here have been virtually extinct for several years now) as well as the popularity of smartphones that allow people to monitor craigslist from anywhere, anytime.
I haven't scored any Pontiac stuff lately (missed out on a couple as I was a few minutes too late), but I have made a few outstanding tool purchases over the past year or two.
