Your comparison to a Chevelle is not correct. A 396/325hp is a different engine in size and it is a hydraulic valve train with a quadrajet. An LS6 is a 454/450hp with huge sqare port heads and a solidlifter valve train, with a huge Holley. No comparison. I just don't believe that the difference in engines in the GTO doubles the price, at least not for me. I know where there are two restored cars in private collections, one a GTO and the other a Judge, both Ram Air IV's, 4 spd. Both may be for sale, the Judge for around a 100K and the GTO for well below that. As I said I can find one myself. I won't ask anymore stupid questions. We all have our opinions.
