Hey Chris. I understand completely. When I did this to my '63 back in '73 I did cut the fender bottom off and attach it to the body. But I was never happy with the look of the fender cut apart. But the cut I did was much larger. I used the mid point (top to bottom) of the fender body line and cut straight across to just above the wheelwell back curve then on a 45 down to the wheelwell. This worked great for the tilt but again I just didn't like the cut line. Aron suggested using something like a drawer slide attached under the hinges to roll/pull th efront assemby straight forward first then up. Which would work great. But I would need to revamp my hinge monts first. But a viable alternative. Thanks for the suggestion Chris. Mark L
