I used to dream of having Pontiac torque under the hood and started secretly thinking about what it would take to convert a camino into a Pontiac. The 69 was what I thought would be the easiest if it were done like the car at the begining of the thread....but I have forever loved the 70. I bought my first one at 18 and now have an Orbit Orange Judge. I have attached a sketch I drew many years ago that kinda captures what I had in mind. If I were to build it now it would be big cubes with a blower on top and 22.5 mickeys out back.....fun thoughts...thanks for the topic!

I drew one too, but mine looks like a 7 yo drew it... in fact it was so bad I came up with the brainwave of parking my 70 GTO across the street, taking a few photos, then carefully tried to park my 70 El Camino in the exact same spot. I then went and stood in the exact same spot and fired off a few more shots. I rushed upto the 1 hour photo store, asked for several copies and rushed home and started cutting and shutting the pics to suit! It turned out pretty good...or atleast alot better than my crap drawing.
