The bottom line is the car's worth changes from owner to owner. I've seen good ones go for less than usual because the owner needs money badly. I've seen poor examples get good money because the market was hot. I've seen solid barn find cars needing work go for excellent money because it was rare and desirable. I've seen cars that sit for a year before selling because the owner stuck to his guns dealing with the same two guys trying to bring him down. The fact is its starts changing the minute somethings done to the car. All the tonsil hockey we're playing on value is just conjecture.
