You can get posi units from many GM cars.....8.5" rear was the standard rear for many cars........except 78-87 G-body (Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Grand Prix, Malibu, Regal)

1988 is the cut-off year for 30 spline axles...so stick with pre-88 rear and you will be set.
