I started on the door repair tonight. First thing was to bend the door skin lip back so that I have access to splice in new metal and to be able to inspect the condition of the metal in this area.
However things can go from bad to worse. After going across the area with wire brush I poked holes in the door skin. I will also need to make a patch the size of the green box. The metal from behind is not good in this area.
