I got in about 3 hours today on the repair. I probably spent two hours deciding what to do and only about an hour doing real work.

Cut the rusted outer door skin corner.


Cut the first part of the door frame away. I think I will tack the pieces in one by one until I rebuild the door frame and then go back and weld all the pieces together.


This is how the first patch started out. Simply bend with sheet metal brake.


After some shrinking and minor trimming.


A early trial fit. Getting there but not good enough.


Ready to tack in place. Out of time today, have to wait till tomorrow to start welding.
