The pwr. strg. cooler application was determined by the axle ratio originally installed.
Any Bird with a 3.23:1 or higher (numericaly) ratio had the cooler.

I didn't really think you would go for the inlet/seat trade
Thanks for looking at my pics. Most of them were actually taken by the previous owner, I suck as a photographer. I really feel fortunate to have found and been able to purchase my car, and I enjoy it immensely, but I am jealous of your cars - they are awesome! The restoration and attention to detail are beyond anything I've seen before. You should post a website or publish a book on the restorations and end results, the few photos I've seen are not enough!
Getting back to the steering cooler, what rear end is in your convertible? I heard that if the car has A/C, it had to be 3.23 or lower due to some pressure issue with the compressor, is that accurate? Mine does have the 3.23.
