I custom ordered my wheels from Wheel Vintiques - well actually Summit Racing after talking to the tech at WV. Summit sells the wheels for less than you can buy them direct. No time is lost because the wheels are dropped shipped from the factory.

The measured backspacing for the 8" rears came out at 5-1/4" and that's what I custom ordered from WV. The front wheels were 7" and were in the catalog with a 4-1/4" backspace and I just went with that.

Probably also a good time to mention that I shaved the outer wheel well lip and made sure nothing but the frame would touch on the inside. My mounted slicks have a section width of 11-1/2" and they fit inside the wheel well with equal spacing on each side (1/4" equal spacing). This works fine for the drag strip, but I stick with nothing wider than 11" for the street because of tire slop when cornering.
