Charles and I talked to Cardone and Ames Eng. yesterday. BTW... to make thing a bit clearer, this is
not the Ames that is selling us parts in the catalog. Things are still at a stand still until Ames and Cardone talk directly to each other. We/ve identified the problem... copies of the original rear divider plate is needed in stainless steel.
I know this is frustrating as all hell, and it is for us too. We've done just about all we can, short of having the correct 8 bolt rear divider plate made ourselves. Anyone got the money to help get that going? I sure don't.
As for the correct pump, call Cardone and ask for it. Tell them it's the pump without the shaved vanes. My understanding is that they have some of these in stock that were never shaved down. But, they are mixed in with the incorrect ones. Try this number that Dan gave above....
