Be Cool complete kit (67-69 F/B manual trans) for my 1979 Firebird (A/T). I wanted the 67-69 because they are slightly smaller and have the brackets on the side (didn't want to use the stock-type mounts). I don't need the trans cooler because I have a separate B&M plate cooler (that also keeps trans at 155 maximum).

Previously with a 4-core OEM Modine and a Flex-A-Lite 4000cfm dual fan, car would NOT run anything cooler than 220F.

Put the Be Cool setup on (with the 2-11" Spal Fans) and it instantly ran 175-180. On the warmest days (100F ambient), I'll see temps around 184. At night (60F ambient) if I keep the fans on, I can go down to about 161F.

They are certainly not cheap, but for a complete kit, I don't think you could do any better (IMO).

By the way, this is on 11.25:1 440cid 600hp combo.
