My original four speed radiator was a three core, even with a/c. I asked my radaitor guy to make it a four core but he said the tanks were too narrow for that. He did say the modern cores are more efficient and the three core he used had the same, if not better cooling capacity than a traditional four core. From the way the car runs, i believe he was right.
