I was about to say that, my first 69 GP was purchased in order to get the 428 in it but driving it impressed me, I remember thinking at the time how much better and tighter it felt compared to a GTO.
I always liked the profile of the car and the interior (especially the leather seat ones) but never thought much of the front.
