My best friend (whom passed away in 2000)
had a '68 GTO convertible with a transplanted 455 in there. He had a 455HO decal on the air cleaner (in fact the whole air cleaner was from a '71 455HO GTO). The UPS man was delivering something, (and I was there to see this comment- he stated the it was rare to have a 455 in a '68 GTO. He then made himself look even worse by stating that most '68 GTO's came with the 389 with the "Six Pack"
