I'm in at fair market value. With fully restored cars going for low $20's and very nice drivers for $15K, I would guess that most of these are solid #4 cars.
At minimum needing engine overhaul, tranny service, hoses, belts, new brakes, tires, transmission work and gas tank to become road ready.

Do the value of all the other GTOs in existence go down? Absolutely not. These cars are a tiny drop in the bucket. Even if they didn't need complete restoration, they don't affect the prices at all.

Today the prices of "garden variety" cars are affected most by lower demand, and significantly higher supply than 20 or even 10 years ago.

I don't think there is a car in the lcollection that isn't going to take $20G to get it to the level I am accustomed to.
