I simply don't have access to 220V, but understand and appreciate the advice about "more power" is more versatile.
This Eastwood advertises as much current as any other 120V unit, and at this price including a gas regulator, I am talking myself into it. If I actually learn to weld, you are probably right about regretting it someday, but until (if) I move, worrying about a larger welder is probably a secondary consideration.
