B-Man,

Serge's truck sounds badass. I actually have a 2802 and lifters in my parts stash and I also am a big fan of that cam! I was considering throwing it in my '68 just to try it in this combo. I've run the 2802 cam before in a 400 in my old 4 speed Tempest ... I loved it, but only after I swapped in 4.10's. I'm a bit worried it would be overcammed not provide enough low-end grunt for a highway geared automatic car?

I guess I could simply put it together with the 2802 first since I have the cam already, and then replace it with something smaller if I felt the low-end was not enough?

Do you, or anyone have experience using the 2802 in a 400 in an auto car with highway gears?
