A nice Flowmaster, Magnaflow, or Pypes system will look and sound better. I have Magnaflow's stainless 2.5" system on mine. Althought it fits the car really well, I'm not impressed with the sound. My motor is completely stock, and sounds stock thru the Magnaflows. Not really much rumble at all.

I have a '67 GTO convt here at my house that I am doing some work on. It has a stock type exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and it sounds great. Again, it is a stock, numbers matching '67 400 (335 hp), that is completely stock, but it at least has a nice rumble.
