Technically, there WAS one 72 GTO with a ducktail, but not sure whether it was ever sold to the public. It was used for promotional purposes, part of the press fleet, so most likely had the spoiler attached post-build, and would not show a spoiler on the invoice. It was a black/black vinyl top, Ram Air 455 H.O car.
