My tcs solenoid wasn't hooked up when I got my car and I want to put it back to original, is there any way to bench test it to see if it is going to work? Also the assembly manual shows that it's supposed to hook up to the carb and distributor but there is a third spot on the tcs...what hooks up to the third spot or is it supposed to be capped? I put a vacuum pump on the carb hook up and the vacuum pulled right through, is that right with it off the car?
