-to kevin k's first post here: I agree that it's too bad people don't have a fun car for daily purposes. You certainly don't need an expensive car to have it be FUN.

-to goatwgn's first post here: speaking as a salt-belt resident who wheels in a '62 year round, using an older car your daily driver makes sense (and CENTS, as in cheaper to repair, no car payment) and has STYLE. To me, STYLE = FUN.
Driving these cars all the time and not letting them sit keeps a lot of corrosion off of them as well. Cleaning under cars with a pressure washer from time to time, especially after harsh road conditions helps even new cars last a lot longer.
