I have had my 68 gto since high school "1978". I start the restoration process in 2007 after hauling the gto back from Idaho to southern california. Thus, I have been at it for nearly four years. I have made some good progress however at my present rate it will be another two or three years . Item that have been completed include (1) rebuild engine, (2) transmission, (3) rearend, (4) new suspension, (5) frame reconditioned and powercoated, (6) truck pan rust repaired, and (7) left quarter panel replaced. The remaining portion of the body is rust free. The body is presently being stripped for painting.
I estimated that I about 65 percent complete. Am about right ? Or what percentage would you place my progress ? Keep in mind that I am going everything myself with the exception of the engine rebuild.
