Awesome carb Michael, and great restoration Cliff!! That thing should really make the motor come alive!
Couldn't resist piling on this thread though... although mine's not as squeaky clean as mrennie's classic Q-jet (ours has already been mounted), here's the Book Racing (BRE) Holley 4150 my son is runnin' on his 455. This carb has every trick in the book: billet base plate, billet metering blocks w/ 4 corner idle, all jets and bleeds are changable, rear jet extentions w/ notched floats, reusable/nonstick gaskets.
And we still can't tune it. That can only be attributed to the skill of the tuners.
So we've shown ours... anyone else gonna show theirs?
