I've always liked the Tiger heads and felt that they are the ultimate all out classic inline race head but even though I've entertained the thought of putting a set on a serious street car I also realized it wouldn't make any sense unless you run .800 inches of lift or more to maximize the heads potential. ( which kinda throws the street part out the window.....) Thanks to Calvin Hill and Bill Anderson's port modifications we now have a "streetable" Tiger that flows over 440 CFM at around .750''-800" with strong mid flow numbers to boot. I've been told by a reliable source that the CSA went from 3.55" to only 3.61"!! So here is my dilemma....... do I buy a pair to put on a 535 inch Pro Tour/ Texas Mile 72 Firebird and then use my ported CV-1 heads on a future drag build or should I hold out and see how the new Edelbrock Pro ports turn out.
