I think you will find more variation in paint mfg matches than there was in the original colors since many of the original tint bases can't be exactly replicated in modern paints. All I know is I think 90% of the first gen firebirds were verado green. I bought 4 69 firebird projects, all from different places and all 4 were original verado green. I looked at buying a 68 firebird as well, and it too was verado. crazy!
