The code did change between 68 and 69. I don't know why. It wasn't changed because the color wasn't selling! Comparing my vintage color chips reveals a definate difference in color. There are many mixes out there, probably none are exactly correct. I prefer the brighter, more metallic versions that pick up a golden tint in the sun.
