Okay the skin does come with a "form" of that lower area. It might be okay if you don't care about having anything near factory. You will have to "work" the trunk drops and can use it if you want. It is "minimal" down there. I can instantly spot it now and someone who knows these cars will assume your car is hacked. You will have to bend the "crease" down there(where it lays flat with the trunk drop). and spend more time massaging it.
My father got in a rush and welded the skin in... we are having to redo it with a oem i got.
You could take the skin and "recreate" the bottom of the quarter to match the factory closer.
This is like the guy working the body line on the fricking quarter... I don't have the patience or want to waste the money to pay a body guy 1500$ to fix a body line ... I can only imagine the cost. I would just spend the extra 200$.
If its just the bottom it sounds like you might be better off just building your own pieces and weld them in.
