To me the standard set up is more aggressive looking. Not to mention added weight & more complexity. When looking for my current GTO it was the lower the options the better. Only thing on my build sheet is rear AM speaker and rally 2 wheels. I'm the 2nd owner. The car was made in Baltimore 40 miles from me and sold at a dealership (now gone) just 8 miles away. Keeping it local.
Perhaps my dislike of Hideaway stems from my youth. Back in the 70's and 80's when these cars were common, and still running around in original condition, seems as though every single one had the hideaways down all the time or they were stuck half way.
