but I was going to mention that I didn't think the Hideaway system weighed so much more than fixed lights that it was a real issue ....otherwise you'd see different front springs spec'd for hideaway cars.... maybe
My 68 had 93,000 miles on it with hideaways working perfect and never repaired ....well they worked great until I piled it into the back of a Chevy at about 20 mph. Even then the right one would still go up and down
