My copy of the disc showed in the mail today, and it's been on rotation ALL afternoon in the garage! There's just something awesome about listening to Eddie melt those frets with the volume cranked WAAAY too loud, all while wrenching on a classic Pontiac and drinking a beer. I can't imagine a much better day!!
I guess we all have one band, or one 'generation' of music that really speaks to us. For me, it just happens to be summed up by Van Halen. And since it's been 14 years since the last VH record, and 28 years since the last one with DLR, (
) I can't remember being so excited about a new record!
