Jeff Thanks for the pic this is why I never say never about items with our old Pontiacs.
I have seen some head scratching sh!t over the years but I am amazed that they thought this was a good layout.
I have to say I have never seen this set up.
However after looking closer at the '66 SM Pg 8-3. Fig 8-5. Shows the tank sender with a Fuel & return/vent line but states 8 CYL. ONLY.
The same pic in the 67 SM pg 8-5 fig 8-8 states 8CYL. & SPRINT
Did the '67s (Sprint) use 2 metal lines/pipes front to back?
Again I have never taken notice of this and am amazed I have never seen it before now.
I also looked again and found a pic of the soild fuel line, it was on a CA smog car however the pic is very small.
Maybe Im just reading to much into this but do find this stuff interesting.
