I have run into a few 68 Cats with the GP front bumper and grill. When I was @ Norwalk in 08, I met the original owner of the 4-speed, 4:11 geared, Verdoro Green 68GP that was featured in HPP a couple of years ago. The blacked out grille is interesting and memorable. After all those years of driving his GP with the 4:11s he had recently re geared it to the mid threes in order to save a little fuel. There was also a 68GP 10 sec race car in the pits that I never saw run, and two 68 GP projects for sale.

Thanks for posting these pics too. Do you have any more of your GP you can post here for VWmailman? Obviously don't see many '68 GP's posted or at shows.
