Finally got around to shooting some pix with my phone--sorry for the poor quality (dark garage). This one came out of a '92 or '93 Caprice wagon with 3.23 or 3.42 (I forget) posi. Hopefully this will confirm some of the measurements others have posted.
I am the owner of several b-bodies, so I'm probably gonna strip the internals out of this housing for use in the standard sedan--unless somebody offers to buy it first.
