Never owned a Ford product, but I think they are making great strides in build quality and features/power/cosmetics. They build the best looking tucks by far. I'm sure many will dispute the EcoBoost or even the Scorpion diesel's quality issues, but they are the top in their class with power as well. I have driven two Scorpions trucks and have been extremely impressed (towing or empty).

Chevy Silverado is just plain fugly and Dodge, er RAM has lost me with the past Chrysler products I have owned.

No troubles out of my Ecoboost yet; and it's averaging 23 mpg , know a couple guys with the 6.7 P-Stroke, that thing is a powerful SOB.
