Mike,
I just did this recently, and I can say this.

Make sure you have the bows cleaned really well and have them in their original positions.
Trim the bow listings to allow a little sideways movement.

Get your front to rear centers stretched and in position with medium binder clips. Then work the sides the same way. Do this all around before you start trimming.

I used black weatherstrip adhesive rather than spray glue for obvious reason.

Lots of tiring upside down work, but it came out really nice.
