I'm wondering if there is a generic round rubber belt out there that could be substituted. Many years ago I installed a similiar but not as big a belt on a late 70's Hoover upright vacuum cleaner.
In the 90's, my old friend Quint Stires (RIP) tipped me to a '69-72 Pontiac concours detailing part that could be bought at local Maytag repair shop. It might be time to search through the McMaster Carr catalog.
