I respectfully disagree. Hot rodders are to credit with modifying their cars. Don't get me wrong I appreciate a good engineer. Problem is if a moron goes to school long enough he will end up one. That and there are many that received no formal education that are more qualified.
That said I have some very good friends that I would call great engineers with little more than a H.S. education. No disrespect intended to anyone.
