Things are starting to become a reality. Car is going to chassis shop Friday for a new chromoly 25.5 cage, butler performance said they should have my stuff wrapped up next week. So, just as I thought this project had come to a stand still...now it's moving right along. The plan is to build the engine while don dial is doing the cage, then take him the engine and turbo stuff so he can build the headers, mount the turbos and intercooler and run all the piping. I sold my Chevelle street car to be able to afford to have the chassis shop do it instead of trying to build it myself. I loved that car, but it ain't my Pontiac! Pics coming soon!!!!

I'm sure you know this already, but I feel I have to mention it. If you're building headers on an already assembled short block
PLEASE keep it all sealed up and make sure you clean all of the slag out of the headers before firing it. It WILL suck whatever crap you have in the headers right into the cylinder and scratch the walls. I know of 3 different engines that had this happen in the last year.
