Any "REAL" resto guy worth his salt can remove that section of frame with a spot weld remover ( goes on a drill) get the new frame section,flange the end towards the front, drill holes where the welds were, use a spot weld adapter for a mig welder ( 30 bucks from eastwood) and weld up those holes and the seam and finish it like it was new. Will need spring off though on that side, may want to start spraying some nuts. I have done this on a 4 post lift and wore some rust but the job came out nice. Maybe a welding, fab shop would be more inclined to tackle it than a body, or resto shop though.
